Draft — not yet legally reviewed. [TO CONFIRM] items need the operator's real details and legal sign-off before public launch.
The short version. Causal shows you what published research says about supplements and lifestyle for your conditions. It is information and education, not medical advice, and it does not replace a doctor. Use it to have better conversations with a qualified professional — not to self-diagnose or self-prescribe.

1. What Causal is — and is not

Causal is a general wellness and education tool. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and does not provide personalised medical advice. Evidence rankings describe the strength of published research, not a prediction that something will work for you.

2. Always consult a professional

Do not start, stop or change any supplement, medication or treatment based on Causal alone. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, or managing a diagnosed condition. If you may be having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency service.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 or over to use Causal.

4. Your account and your data

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your login secure. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. You can delete your account and data at any time.

5. No warranty

Causal is provided "as is". The evidence graph is built from published literature which is incomplete, evolving, and sometimes contradictory; we make no warranty that any information is complete, current, or fit for your particular circumstances.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, [TO CONFIRM: legal entity] is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information provided by Causal. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

7. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes are notified in advance. Questions: [TO CONFIRM: contact email]. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales [TO CONFIRM].
